studied law at the University of Salzburg and Nancy (France).

In 2002 he completed a post-graduate degree with a Masters of Law (LL.M) from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Subsequently he worked as a lawyer at various firms in Frankfurt and Vienna as well as in the legal department of the Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt.

In 2006 he became an associate at Berger Daichendt Grobovschek Advocates and he has been registered as a lawyer at the Salzburg Chamber of Law since 2008.
